Hot and Brother'd

One of the Koch Brothers gave the Museum $100 million to tear up the plaza & replace the fountains with a new one bearing his name. Ironically, the sibs' Koch Industries ranks among the top 10 polluters in North America, including creating a globally publicized mountain of coke on the Detroit River within the beleaguered eponymous city & having the largest tar sands holdings in Alberta & a parallel lead position in Keystone - purveyors of the fresh water threatening XL Pipeline. So what does this have to do with art or culture to concern with how well the fountains work. Not much. They besmirch all, the City-owned museum & the people's park in which it resides.
