While people planned their Fourth of July picnics and barbeques, we handed out Don’t Do Koch flyers identifying Koch Brothers’ products outside local grocery stores, pharmacies, and markets.
Participants registered flyering events or joined ones already listed. We gathered a few friends, picked a store in our neighborhood that sells these products, and handed out the flyers. We let shoppers know there are options they can buy to keep us independent of Koch domination.
Our toolkit contains all the materials you'll need for any flyering day including a pdf of the supermarket handout to shoppers. Print the handout on your computer or see if you can get it printed more economically at a local copy center. We’ll be blogging about these and future actions. So send us reports or comments and photos to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Don’t Do Koch flyering campaign works. Shoppers appreciate the information; and from their responses, it is clear that it’s impacting their shopping choices. Now it’s time to enlist nation-wide participation and make it go viral.
